Project Description:
260 West Broadway is part of the American Thread Building, a beloved landmark in one of Manhattan’s most picturesque neighborhoods.
Built in 1894, it has long been regarded as an icon of the Renaissance revival style, and its 26-foot windows continue to turn heads.
Dressing this luxurious apartment’s huge, arched windows was a tall task, and involved a combination of Vesta pinch pleat drapes and Somfy motorized tracks.
By sticking to a simple color palette and opting for minimal hardware, we allowed the showstopping architectural features to take center stage. The delicate drapery is mirrored in the bedrooms for a polished finish throughout.
The end result not only looks beautiful, but provides much-needed privacy, allowing the occupants to effortlessly open and close the drapery at the touch of a button.
